Sounds

There are two main categories when it comes to paranormal sounds; EVP and disembodied noises/voices.

EVP
Electronic voice phenomena. This is where a "spirit" leaves an impression of their voice on a recording device, be it a video camera or a Dictaphone. These EVP's can have a meaningful message or could quite simply be the sound of someone having a conversation. Disembodied Noises/Voices
These are noises that seem to have no source. For example the sound of someone screaming when no one in the location has screamed or the sound of someone walking on wooden flooring coming from a carpeted area. Click here to visit our disembodied Noises archive.
