Liz Egan Reports:
When we had all arrived we did half an hour of solo vigils. Andrew and I went into the kitchen area and did some calling out and tried some glass divination. Nothing to report though. We then went into room 4. A few little lights were seen and we definitely had the impression we weren't alone in there. Andrew got the name of George come through.

Our first team vigil was in Room 4. We were doing grass divination in there and made contact with a male gardener who used to do the gardens here. He seemed very angry, confused and unhappy. We had the impression he had done wrong when he was living, possibly involving children, and was very afraid to pass over to the light in case he was judged so he made himself stay in the house. He didn't want to know that he was dead and everytime we asked him about his family or about passing into the light the glass moved very angrily and fast to No. Sometimes so fast that our fingers left the glass. Mark and Sue asked their spirit guides to try and help him but were given the answer it has to be the spirits own decision as to decide what they want to do. I think we all felt quite emotional in there as he was adamant he wasn't leaving as too frightened.

Second vigil was in the cellar. Lots of shadows and lights were witnessed. Got through to a very negative energy down there. First of all said was little girl then said adult, then little girl, then adult. Felt that he had attacked women and glass confirmed. We tried some table tipping whilst Andrew stood in corner of the room. The table didn't move despite calling out for them to use our energy to move, then Andrew, who we didn't realise had gone into a trance, shouted out "tables are for f***ing eating off of" which made us all jump about 6 feet into the air. Hopefully somebody else has transcript of what else the Andrew/spirit came out with as it's totally gone from my head! It took several attempts to get Andrew out of this trance

Next one was in Room 2 upstairs. We sat quietly and watched for any lights or movements. I saw a small tennis ball size light on the back wall and we all saw sparkly lights. . Then there was a large flash of white which I think we all saw too? The feeling of lots of children was felt in this room We then tried some more divination, this time using one of the toy cars I brought along. The car, rather than going backwards and forwards, actually went sideways towards the yes and no markers in reponse to our questions which was not easy to do. The gardner came through again but seemed to be in a better mood this time around,

Andrew was standing at the far wall whilst this was going on and we were all very shocked to hear a very loud and long rsssssssssssssssssssssssssspt noise coming from him followed by a little boy's chuckle. We asked who he was. 'Timothy' came the reply. How old are you "5", did you live here "yes, mum used to work in the kitchens, I burnt myself" How did you burn yourself? "By stealing some bread from the ovens" Then he said "have you seen my sister?" What's her name, "Clara, I can't find her" We saw a little girl standing next to you (Andrew) earlier. "yes but she's gone now" Isn't it past your bedtime "ohhhhhhhhhh". Then we said our goodbyes. He was really sweet )

We then went into rooms 6 and 7 upstairs. Somebody had set out a board with the alphabet and numbers on. Tried various experiments with the spirits that came through. Thought we were in for trouble as the first spirit coming through spelt out the word S L U T as soon as the glass started to move. But most of them couldn't seem to spell and one who want us to call him Mr Mr as kept moving glass over to those letters each time we asked him to spell his name out. We tried the experiment where Andrew held up some fingers but each of the spirits, despite saying they could see Andrew, failed to get the number right on the board, which was odd as this worked really well in previous investigations at other locations. Jack Patterson came through again and proved it was him by coming to each of us in turn to give our names then knocking some letters off the table like he did with a previous team in that room earlier. Even he didn't get the number game right. When he was asked to spell out why, the glass when to S I M P L E as in it was too simple and he needed something more challening to do! LOL

Last vigil was in the kitchen. Made contact with various spirits using the glass again but nothing else was experienced. Went back into room 4 and did some planchette. It felt like it was moving several times but there was no mark on the paper.

All in all was an excellent night. But had such a headache through it which really built up towards the end and all of Sunday. Jenny also had bad head and Dave too. Anybody else get a headache here?

Also in the lounge area on the left as you look towards the door was an alcove with a world globe in. Can anyone remember what other bits of furniture were in there at start of the evening and was anything on the furniture ?

MC Reports:
One the way down in the car with Jenny I for the name francis and that he like ladies bottoms!
Also talking to Andrew later, I had the lyrics of a song going round my head .. Frankie do you remember me .. frankie. Turns out Andrew was trying to remember Francis's name and this song was meant for him.

While we had out walkround, our first stop was the cellar .. not a nice place .. its no secret I don't like small spaces but this freaked me out for being small .. all the spiders webs there were in there, and cause it felt so angry down there ...needless to say I didn't stick around there for long and left everyone to it.

Outside while I was waiting for evryone to come back I picked up on Henry VIII, someone who was hung round there and a not very nice chap who didn't want us there!
Rest of the walkround was fine.

First vigil was in the cellar (I soo didn't want to go back in there). As Jenny said we both picked up on a little child called Edward (Eddy) who was hiding under the counter in middle cupboard thing (do you like my technical terms!) Bless him I tried to talk to him, but he was scared of females so Dave and Ian went to talk to him with Jenny and I standing back ready to give the answers, turns out he was put down there by a female and accused of stealing but that he didn't do it. He was crying his eyes out poor thing, so Jenny and I thought it would be a good thing to send him to the light. Not knowing what to do I let Jenny do her thing and I was just going to send my angels in. So Jenny started doing her thing and I asked for the angels to come in, and one did, he crouched down by Edward trying to encourage him to come out but he wouldn't. While this was happening I had a really angry energy slamming into my bad (I was stood in the doorway) he wanted to come in and stop what we were trying to do, I maanged to stop him coming in, (it was tough I can tell you) but he did finally back off, Anyway Edward wouldn't go so we decided to ask Jan and Andrew to go back later and see if they could do something for him. So we head off back to other other room and try some glass divination but nothing happened, all the while I could feel myself for no reason getting really angry and all I wanted to do was shout at Jenny and shove the table in her face ... and so the swearing begun and the table got pushed, from what I can remember cause this is all cloudy but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, I walked away into the other room, but Jenny caled me back, I was stood by the wall and all I wanted to do was pick the table up and relly hit Jenny round the head (this chap sure didn't like women or tables!), I can remember him coming back and feeling his energies getting close and stronger and then asking Jenny for help, the next thing I know I'm on the floor, glasses on the floor, covered in dust with Jenny in front of me and Dave behind. Don't remember much of it, think I remember pushing Jenny, (only it wasn't me), pretty soon we left after that .. just before leaving Dave and Ian came over feeling really ill as well.

Vigil 2 was upstairs in Rooms 1 and 2, we were talking about the cellar, but decided to change the conversation when the atmospher changed, it was like we were attracting the negative by talking about them, so we told a few jokes and then we met a lady who was a French Nanny called Margaret/Margaritte who had died of TB. She was really nice, her energie were very welcome after the cellar. I picked up on the fact that it was like a music room and there would have been a stage for little theatre peformaces. We also when we were doing glass divination head some clicking noises at the back of the room, but we have no idea where they came form.

Vigil 3 was the Kitchen and Room 4 - One the walk round I didn't like the kitchen either, I had images of the chain saw massacer (sp?) going on and blood everywhere. Not a nice place, I later found out why! After haveing a flashing game with mart, we settled down to our vigil, it was a funny place that seems to get darker, there were a few noises and the atmosphere changed when some monks walked it, they didn't do anything, just stood watching as if they were waiting for something, I started to get really angry, but this time my guides helped me! Also at one point we all seems to go out of focus and Dave said he saw a skull over my face (lovely!). Soon after that we left there and went into room 4 where we did some planchette work it seemed to work better with the lights off and when we weren't concentrating on it. Like jenny said we couldn't make anything out of it, but we had fun trying! We then tried with the glass but kept getting a dark energy through that wouldn't go away, we then got a roman soldier who said he was came through to stop any bad energies coming. While we were in this room above us it sounded like river dance was going on, it ws so noisy, (turned out the attic was above us and no-one was in it) When Dave's tape recorded went off it made me jump as well, Dave and Ian joked about having to pull is off the ceiling!!

Vigil 4 was the Hall and Front Room - was quite quiet, Picked up on someone on the stairs and that the stairs seemed wrong (turns out they were), went into the front room but nothing much happened.

Jenny Semmence Reports:
Started off with a small vigil in the Attic Room which was a tad uncomfortable, the room looked as though it was getting smoky (could of been my eyes though) and we connected with a male spirit that Sharon had met before. He wasn't particularly nice and spent a long time laughing at us from his cupboard. Then we moved downstairs and did some glass divination where I was unfairly ousted as a Jezabelle by Frankie Baby. I'll have you know I'm a fine, upstanding figure of the community! Apparently I reminded him of a Lady of the Night he once knew...

First proper vigil kicked off in the cellar (woooooo!). MC and I both picked up on a little kid called Edward down there. He was so scared, we tried to ask him to interact but he didn't like women so wouldn't come out from the brick inset. As we tried to help him another male energy came in and all heck broke loose. MC can give you specifics about him! We tried glass divination to no effect but when doing table tipping I ended up with it in my face after the angry male grabbed hold of MC. He stepped in too close and shortly after we were picking her off the floor. Dave got nauseous and dizzy and Ian started to feel unwell so we decided to beat a hasty retreat!

Vigil 2 was in Rooms 1 and 2 where we met a French Nanny called Margaritte who had died of TB. She was a lovely soul and answered many questions that we asked her. Full details in the report. There was also something about the cupboard in this room that I wasnted to physically use my nails to get in to the wall as you walked in on the right - apparently there are some steps there that they are going to open back out. The room itself felt like a parlour room to me, with a large harp and general fun things to play with and the dividing wall shouldn't of been there.

Vigil 3 was the Kitchen and Room 4 - the kitchen had a really eerie energy to it and you were half expecting the place to turn into a hive of poltergeist bonanza - I felt as though I had had my throat slit with a bottle and was left to die. The energy went a bit darker but nothing physical happened so we moved to Room 4 where we attempted some planchette work - it moved more than I've ever seen - nothing we could make out but we did all have fun making our own interpretations of it (it was kind of like cloud watching!). We then moved to the glass and got a Roman Soilder come through - need to check up on some facts he gave us! All through the vigil we had what sounded like people running up and down the roof space though. The scariest moment for me though was when Daves tape recorder came to a grinding halt because it reached the end of the tape - totally non paranormal but by eck did it make me jump!

Vigil 4 was the Hall and Front Room - not a lot happened although we did get our first orbs of the evening - now I normally don't get excited about orbs but the fact that we had caught absolutely none all evening and suddenly we did when we asked needs further investigation - I'd be interested to see the analysis of the photos...

Andrew Marsay Reports:
First interesting thing to happen was the table tipped over in the lounge. No one placed the table in that position and Dave confirmed that it was standing properly about 30 mins earlier as he had this on film.

First vigil in room 4 was interesting as we had some good movement with the glass and connected with a bit of a negative energy, known only as the 'gardener'. He was quite aggresive with the glass at times.

Next vigil in the cellar was very atmospheric to say the least. I think that all the team at the time felt a bit strange in there at times. I allowed an energy to come quite close and he channelled through, I can't remember the specifics (perhaps Liz can comment) but I do recall feeling quite angry and agressive. A wee bit later, I went into the smaller area and was zapped on the left arm quite strongly. It felt like a strong static shock, needless to say it made me jump. Mark also had his arm grabbed a few minutes later.

We then ventured upstairs to Room 1 and 2 (i think). Sue sat down to channel some automatic writing producing some good results. Early on we were puzzelled by some lights coming in under the door, however sussed it a little later as being trees blowing in the wind against a streetlight. We were then seeing some interesting sparkles of light, smokey mists appearing and at one point I saw a sillohete of a small child.

I decided to go and stand in the area where the sparkles were coming from and asked Sue to watch and see if she could see any changes, lights etc around me. Again, the energy of a spirit child came close and he came through. Apparently he introduced himself by blowing a raspberry. How embarressing!

Subsequent vigils were quiet, although a fair bit of glass divination movement was experienced. All in all an excellent night with great company!

Martin Gregory Reports:
The evening started with something of a surprise, when after returning from a brief walk around of the vigil areas we notice that in front of the fireplace opposite the entrance hall a small 3 legged wooden table was precariously propped up against a copper coal bucket. This captured our attention simply because it was the sort of thing that we would have surely noticed earlier in the night, as we had spent the best part of an hour sat in various groups around the fireplace, without noticing this before. Luckily we had begun the walk around with some brief video footage of the lounge area, so we set about reviewing the film to see if we had captured the fireplace and this particular table. Sure enough, we had captured a shot of the fireplace, and to our surprise the table was standing as it should have been, on all 3 legs next to one of the armchairs. My first inclination was that maybe somebody had pushed against the armchair, causing this to knock the table forward and onto the bucket, so I attempted to replicate this. At first I only managed to make the table wobble, but after a good solid shunt the chair pushed the table slowly over and onto the metal bucket, which then toppled over itself, spilling its contents all over the floor and making an awful amount noise. It was also not as if the table had toppled quickly, as the solid push I gave the chair only resulted in a gentle, slow fall in the opposite direction. Although we cannot completely discount the possibility of the table accidentally falling over, it is almost impossible to explain how this would have been achieved so deliberately. We proceeded to setup a locked off camera to monitor the table for further movements, together with some string around its base to assist our efforts to track anything out of the ordinary.

Our opening vigil was in Rooms 1 and 2 on the first floor where for the most part all remained quiet. We then moved onto Room 4 where we sat around a table in the centre of the room and attempted some glass divination and conducted a séance. A suggested connection was made with a French soldier who appeared not to take kindly to my line of questioning. Both Sharon and Jannine suggested feeling a certain level of animosity towards me which in parts did put me a little on edge. During the break I returned to the room alone to see if I could encourage something more significant to occur, but again the supposed spirits was not forthcoming.

Vigil 3 then took place in the Cellar which was again uneventful, however the penultimate vigil in Rooms 6 and 7 brought the most rewarding hour of the investigation. We had setup a glass and table, with letter of the alphabet and the number 0-9 around the outside. We began using the glass as a means of communication by asking spirits to spell words and answer questions (using the Y and N letters) and it appeared there was a certain amount of success. Of course we cannot discount that as the team touching the glass were aware of the location of the letters that in some conscious or sub-conscious way they were able to influence the wording of the communication as well as the Y/N answers. The most interesting words which came forward appeared to be directly related to Sharon. One in particular, which was 'g l i s t e n' struck a chord as this was a word from a lyric to a song which she had recently started composing. We also felt that there was some seedy, sexual connotation here, especially directed to Sharon. I then decided to try an experiment to introduce and element of control by asking all team members to close their eyes while communicating with the glass. I then informed them that I would move the letters Y and N to different positions on the table so that they were unaware of their location, attempting to make it harder to simply guess the correct Y or N answers to some more questions. In fact I only 'pretended' to move the 'Y' card, although I did change the 'N' card with the 'P' card. The hope was that if conscious attempts were being made to spell the answers the team on the glass would have thought the letters had been moved, hence would not be able to guess their correct position. The first 2 questions brought unsuccessful replies as the glass moved in the same direction but to the wrong letter (I recall it was B). I then made the next question more personal and asked if the spirit meant any harm to Sharon. At this point the glass made a sharp movement across the table to the place where I had just moved the 'N' card, and the proceeded to knock the card off the table and the glass stopped directly on the edge. I could see that all team members still has their eyes closed, so I was confident that nobody was cheating the experiment. This certainly was intriguing, although not hard evidence, but it certainly gave me some food for thought.

Out final vigil for the night took place in the Entrance/Lounge area, where the investigation came to a quiet and uneventful conclusion. My fourth investigation at Wymering Manor has once more provided some interesting highlights and left me pondering some of the activity we had witnessed. I certainly look forward to the next time.
